La política sobre equipaje de mano y equipaje facturado depende siempre de la aerolínea que opera tu vuelo. Para evitar cualquier sorpresa en tu viaje, en Wings to Claim hemos recopilado toda la información relacionada con la normativa de equipaje de las principales compañías aéreas.
Normativa de equipaje de mano y facturado de aerolíneas principales
Ryanair
Equipaje de mano
Si viajas con Ryanair solo puedes llevar de forma gratuita un maletín o bolso pequeño que quepa bajo el asiento delantero (40cm x 20cm x 25cm). Si necesitas una maleta de mano, deberás contratar el servicio Priority, con el cual podrás subir a cabina tu equipaje de mano de 55cm x 40cm x 23cm y un máximo de 10kg.
Los viajeros que decidan no contratar la tarifa priority, deberán facturar su maleta de mano en bodega. Te aconsejamos facturarla en el momento de la compra online de los billetes, dado que será más barato que hacerlo en el mostrador de facturación del aeropuerto.
Equipaje facturado
Por motivos de seguridad, Ryanair no transporta artículos individuales de más de 32 kg o de dimensiones combinadas de más de 81 cm (alto), 119 cm (ancho) y 119 cm (profundidad). Este límite de peso no se aplica al equipamiento de movilidad.
Cada pasajero puede facturar un total de tres maletas grandes de máximo 20kg pagando la tarifa de equipaje facturado de 25€ por trayecto al realizar la reserva inicial. Las tarifas por bulto facturado se aplican por persona/por vuelo y se descuentan al hacer la reserva por Internet.
Iberia
Equipaje de mano
Cada pasajero puede llevar un bulto de equipaje más un artículo personal, siempre y cuando este quepa dentro del medidor de tamaño de equipaje y no exceda las dimensiones totales de 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, incluyendo el asa, bolsillos y ruedas. Además de la maleta, Iberia permite volar con otro bulto que puede ser un maletín, bolso de señora, cartera pequeña u ordenador portátil.
Equipaje facturado
En vuelos domésticos e internacionales operados por Iberia se permite un máximo de un equipaje gratuito (franquicia) que varía en función de la tarifa contratada. El equipaje trasportado sin cargo deberá pesar un máximo de 23 kg y medir no más de 158cm (alto + ancho + profundidad).
EasyJet
Equipaje de mano
easyJet permite subir un pequeño equipaje de mano a la cabina con unas dimensiones máximas de 45 x 36 x 20 cm. Los bolsos, maletines, ordenadores portátiles y maletines de ordenador cuentan como una bolsa, de manera que si llevamos, por ejemplo, un bolso y un maletín de ordenador, se deberá pagar un recargo y facturar uno de ellos. Al mismo tiempo, solo caben 70 maletas de mano en los compartimentos superiores, así que si no hay sitio para el tuyo, será facturado sin recargo.
Además, si contratas la tarifa Flexi o posees la tarjeta easyJet Plus, podrás llevar dos artículos en cabina. Es decir, añadir a tu maleta de mano un segundo artículo de tamaño más pequeño que no supere los 45x36x20 cm. No hay límite de peso para las piezas de equipaje de mano, pero debes poder levantarla y transportarla tú mismo.
Las maletas que superen las medidas máximas de 56 x 45 x 25 cm (medidas que serán comprobadas por la compañía) viajarán en la bodega con recargo.
Equipaje facturado
Cada pasajero de easyJet puede facturar hasta 3 maletas de 23 kg y añadir peso adicional en unidades de 3 kg hasta un máximo de 32 kg de equipaje en una maleta o bolsa no superior a 275 cm (alto + ancho + largo). Si viajas con familiares o amigos en la misma reserva, puedes repartir la limitación total de peso.
Air Nostrum
En los vuelos de Air Nostrum siguen las mismas consignas que en Iberia: se permite una maleta de dimensiones totales de 56cm x 45cm x 25cm y un accesorio. Además, cada pasajero puede transportar en cabina, bajo su custodia y sin cargo adicional alguno, un bolso de señora o cartera pequeña, un abrigo o manta de viaje, un bastón, un par de muletas, un ordenador portátil y cámaras fotográficas o de video.
British Airways
Equipaje de mano
La medida estándar de equipaje no supera los 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, incluyendo asas, bolsillos y ruedas y para la segunda pieza o bolsa de ordenador portátil ha de limitarse a 40cm x 30cm x 15cm.
Al igual que en los vuelos de Iberia, el equipaje deberá poder introducirse en los soportes de medidas disponibles en las áreas de facturación, así como en los maleteros superiores cerrados o debajo del asiento del pasajero.
Equipaje facturado
British Airways tiene una franquicia de equipaje gratuita, que variará en función de la clase de viaje y tipo de billete que reserve. Pueden llevarse maletas adicionales, pagando un suplemento.
Otras aerolíneas en nombre de British Airways operan ciertas rutas y las franquicias de equipaje varían cuando se viaja con estas otras compañías aéreas.
En algunas rutas los aviones utilizados por estas aerolíneas son más pequeños que los que utiliza British Airways, por lo que el espacio en cabina es más limitado, y en consecuencia las franquicias máximas de peso y tamaño son también inferiores.
