Lufthansa está preparando otra ola de cancelaciones de vuelos debido a la escasez de personal, lo que se suma al caos de viajes en Europa a medida que comienza la crucial temporada de vacaciones de verano. Lufthansa canceló un total de 3.100 vuelos el mes pasado después de que una serie de infecciones por coronavirus exacerbara la escasez de personal. Otro portavoz de la aerolínea precisó que esa semana serán cancelados 770 vuelos en Frankfurt y Munich, en particular en horarios punta de tarde y noche, cuando coincide el mayor número de operaciones y se produce más retrasos.
¿Cómo reclamar a Lufthansa el Reembolso de vuelo?
Si tras estudiar el caso, la aerolínea es la responsable, se podrá reclamar al menos a Lufthansa el reembolso del vuelo.
Legalmente tanto las aerolíneas como las agencias de viaje están obligadas, como mínimo, a devolver el coste del billete cancelado y la indemnización de 250 a 600€.
Si el pasajero está de acuerdo, la compañía aérea puede reubicarlo en otro vuelo o cambiar el billete por un bono canjeable en un futuro. Pero, si el pasajero decide que prefiere el reembolso, Lufthansa estará obligada a devolver el coste del billete.
¿Hay derecho a indemnización si sufre una cancelación o retraso de vuelo por parte de Lufthansa?
La indemnización de 250 a 600€ se reclama a Lufthansa cuando sea la culpable.
En ese caso deberá reclamar una indemnización a Lufthansa por el mismo importe:
- Si el vuelo cancelado o retrasado, NO se considera circunstancia extraordinaria.
- Si Lufthansa avisa al pasajero con menos de 14 días de antelación de cualquier cambio de horario o de vuelo.
- Si el vuelo se ha retrasado 3 horas o más hasta llegar a su destino final.
